Marc V. Stress, author of the forthcoming The Brand Operating System, has released a series of original images and typographic works on Unsplash and Flickr, free to download and share ahead of the book’s July 15 publication date.

The pieces are visual arguments — short, typographic, and direct. Works in the series include statements such as “Campaigns expire. Systems compound.” and “Your brand is a) infrastructure b) overhead. Pick one.” Each distills a position from the book into a form designed to be used: shared in presentations, posted, circulated. They carry the same argument the book makes at length.

“Some ideas are easier to say in four words than four paragraphs. These pieces are the short version — free to use, made in the same spirit as the book.”
